Adam Brown, 31 of Grayville, was sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections on the morning of October 2.
Brown will be serving five years in the Department of Corrections and two years under Mandatory Supervised Release for a charge of Unlawful Use of Property, which is a class 2 felony.
Brown had previously been placed on probation, that was revoked for various violations with the new sentence. Grayville Police Department was the original arresting agency. Brown was represented by Public Defender Brian Shinkle with Judge T. Scott Webb presiding over the sentence.
