Carmi, Ill. Light Plant Foreman Nabbed in Amazon Theft Case

The foreman of the City of Carmi, Illinois Light Plant faces felony theft charges after he allegedly used a municipal account to purchase items for his home.  Keaton Bradshaw, 32 of Carmi has been formally charged with felony theft over $500 but less than $10,000.   

Carmi Police Chief Jason Carter stated that Bradshaw used the City of Carmi Amazon credit card  account to buy sprayers, drills, a camera system and table saw components for his own personal use. The items, Chief Carter said, were shipped directly to Bradshaw's home. Police allege that when Bradshaw discovered he was under investigation he began to bring the items in question back to the light plant. The camera system had been installed in Bradshaw's home, police said.
