Tabitha Seabeck, 27 of Akron, Ohio, turned herself in at the Carmi Police Department on January 29 for a White County burglary warrant. Her bond was set at $500 cash.


Derek Randolph, 33 of Crossville, was arrested on January 29 following a traffic stop at Main and Church in Carmi after he was observed driving a vehicle and the officer knowing he had a suspended Illinois driver’s license. Bond was set at $250.


An accident was reported on North Staley Street and East Main Street on January 29. Nicolette Browning, 22 of Norris City, stated that she was turning right onto East Main Street from North Staley Street. Browning said that she struck the vehicle. While investigating, dispatch advised that Browning was a suspended driver and was arrested. Her bond was set at $250.


James Little, 65 of Carmi, was arrested for domestic battery on January 30.


Steven Osborne, 50 of Carmi, was arrested following a traffic stop on February 1 for driving while license is revoked, improper use of evidences of registration, and a White County arrest warrant for failure to appear on a DUI charge. Osborne was also cited for operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and an obstructed windshield. Bond was set at $750.


A vehicle stop on the night of February 1 resulted in two male individuals being arrested. Roger Raymond, 56 of Poseyville, Indiana, was charged for a Posey County warrant and for unlawful delivery of alcohol to a minor. Trent Rawson, 20 of Carmi, was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Raymond’s bond was set at $600 and Rawson’s was $100.


On February 2, Claris Judy Sturgal reported a theft of her black kettle from her front yard. Sturgal stated that the black kettle was located near her front porch and was probably stolen during the week of January 26 to February 2.
