Bids have been received to demolish the old school gymnasium in the Village of Mill Shoals.  During the October meeting, Village Clerk Heath Tullis unsealed the two bids received for the demolition.  Carter X submitted a bid for $55,268 with Schaefer Excavating bidding $59,999.  Village President Ron Gray stated the lowest bid from Carter X would be accepted and that he would follow up with State Representative Adam Niemberg's legislative aide to try to secure funds to carry out the work.

Village sewer employee Wayne Carter informed the board that he has secured a price quote of $11,347 from Schaeffer's Pump and Supply to replace two main sewer pumps at the sewer plant. The board approved the purchase.
