The Village of Enfield might see an increase in their dispatch fee soon.
Members of the board agreed that this fee is unfair and that it should not be charged to individual Villages but to the entire White County.
Mayor Tom Harbour stated that he would contact the Norris City Mayor Roy Kissel to discuss the situation.
Utilities Superintendent Steven Bishop told the board that he found a crimping tool, for live gas lines, in excellent condition for only $1,500.
Village Attorney Jonathan Turpin spoke to the board about the Gupta Property at their December 17 meeting. Turpin said that he talked to Gupta and advised him that a deed in full must be returned to him along with the $12,000 in property taxes owed by January 1. Gupta agreed to have it done before the deadline.
Mayor Harbour thanked the Village Secretary Tammy Jones for her hard work on the Santa Sunday. There were around 28 children in attendance.
Electrical work will be completed on the north side of Main Street, so the Village will be able to have Christmas Decorations on display for 2020.
Lastly, the board agreed to a grace closing on New Year's Eve for the Hickory Creek Hideaway. Last call will be at 12:30 a.m. and closing time will be at 1:00 a.m.
