The Village of Crossville has been taking bids for equipment to replace with new material for the Village city workers to use.
A 1997 John Deere 310E Turbo Backhoe was sold to Larry Hite for the bid of $18,249.85. Secondly, a 2003 Trailer Express 5’x 8’ Tilt Bed Trailer was sold to Larry Ridenour, Owner of Larry’s Mowing for $258.
Unfortunately the bids received for the last item which is a 2010 Exmark Laser Z, 60 Inch Cut Zero Turn Mower, 27HP Kohler Command Pro Motor with 719 hours of usage was not quite what the Village was wanting out of it so the bid is still open with a minimum bid of $2500.
The bid will be open until the next board meeting on February 25 at 7 PM where they will open bids and be discussed.
Lastly, the board has made a decision on the Annual BBQ Cookoff. The set date for the cookoff is May 9th, rain or shine.
Details will be discussed at a meeting that has not been set for a date yet.
Meeting adjourned at 7:22 PM on February 11.
