This is the first year that the May Lodge, Number 718, has had a raffle to raise funds for various projects that the Lodge does throughout the year. With some of the funds going to help local youth activities.

Tickets were sold from July through Dairy Days evening, with the drawing being held on the stage at 9:00 pm on September 28.

The Masonic Lodge and Indiana Creek RV Sales and Service, both in Norris City, teamed up to offer a Henry Tribute .22 Caliber Lever Action Rifle to the winner of the raffle. The Henry USA Company offers a number of Tribute Rifles, including First Responders, Law Enforcement, American Railroad, American Farmer, Firefighters, Truckers, Coal Miners and Freemasons. The winner of the first prize of the raffle may choose whatever Tribute Rifle they prefer.

The May Lodge would like to thank the community who purchased the raffle tickets and to everyone who had brought bags of aluminum cans to the “dog pen” behind the Lodge Hall. The money received from the sale of the cans is also used for local youth activities.
