To all Customers of Consumers Gas Company: Natural gas is in a critical situation because of the cold weather in the southwest. Well heads are frozen and the gas cannot be delivered to the pipelines. Prices have more than doubled and this will cause your future gas bills to increase. We will be able to purchase natural gas but it will be significantly higher in cost. Please help this situation by lowering your thermostat and conserving natural gas. After the weather warms up above freezing, the price should go back to it's normal pricing
