The NCOE School Board reviewed nine bids for worker’s compensation insurance. After consideration of all bids, the Board approved the bid from ICRMT and StarStone, which will provide the Board with savings of 21.19%.
In executive session, the resignation of SueElla Carter, a personal aid at the Norris City Jr. High, was accepted.
The Board will be applying for a maintenance grant. This grant will match funding for maintenance issues within schools.
Next, the December Board meeting was rescheduled for Dec 16 at 7 p.m., and during this meeting, the Board will levy taxes.
Upcoming events for Norris City schools include a Jr. High basketball game vs. Wayne City at Booth Elementary on Dec 19, and Christmas Programs for Booth Elementary at 5:30 p.m. and NCOE high school at 7 p.m. on Dec 18.
Next month’s meeting will be Dec 16 at 7 p.m. in the Superintendent’s office.
