Semi driver loses load of pickles

The westbound exit ramp of Interstate 64 at Grayville was closed for several hours last Tuesday night after a semi hauling a load of pickles overturned.  The driver told State Police that he heard a loud sound coming from the front passenger side semi-trailer tire. Moments later, the driver lost control, causing his big rig to off the ramp into the grassy median and overturn.  Local police said the westbound ramp was blocked until around 3 o'clock the following morning. The crash was reported at 7:26 Tuesday evening, August 24.  Little Wabash Fire District personnel were called to wash down fuel at the site.  No injuries were reported and the driver's name was not immediately available.
