White County board has new chairman

The White County Board has a new chairman.  Chairman Ron McAnulty gave up the leadership role and recommended that vice-chairman Clint Spencer take his place.  The County Board agreed, accepted McAnulty's decision to resign as chairman and passed the position to Spencer.  McAnulty is a longtime Republican – Spencer, a Crossville area Farmer is a Democrat.   McAnulty said he decided to step down as chairman due to increased responsibilities he has taken on a Indian Creek Township Supervisor.
