Testing for new rank is held about every three months. Student progress through nine different colored belt levels: white, orange, yellow, camouflage, green, purple, blue, brown, and red. There are also nine degrees of black belt. After a student successfully completes all requirements for each belt they are eligible to test.
Carmi Taekwondo Center is a member of the American Taekwondo Association, one of the largest martial arts organizations in the world. The ATA consists of over 300,000 members and 1,500 schools and clubs. The ATA is one of the few martial arts organizations that certifies not only black belt ranks, but also color belt ranks.
