The Carmi-White County High School golf program made a strong showing on Wednesday, September 25, when Trey Mason’s Bulldog golf teams competed at the Black Diamond Conference tournament that was held at the Franklin County Country Club course in West Frankfort. While the Bulldogs took home the conference championship, the Lady Bulldogs had a third-place finish.

For the Canines, CWC had three players finish in the Top Ten on the day. Oakley Gee (73), Ty Barbre (75), and KaCee Fulkerson’s 76 led the maroon and white to a team score of 308. Other Bulldogs that contributed on the day included Kaden Carter (84), Alex O’Daniel (90), and a 97 was carded by Jace Burzynski.

For the Lady Bulldogs, Allie Gee recorded a 92 to not only pace CWC to 393 team score, but also placed the senior in the Top Ten overall. Macey Heil (96), Elleigh Gray (99), Laci Mills (106), Katie Deig (107), and a 118 by Saylor Mason rounded out the scoring for the Lady Canines.
