Trey Mason’s golf teams had two matches over the past week, hosting Harrisburg and Hamilton County at the Carmi Country Club. While the Lady Bulldogs dropped both matches, the Bulldogs kept their seasonal record perfect by sweeping both opponents.

CWC v. Harrisburg (Mon., Aug. 26)

For the Bulldogs, junior Ty Barbre carded the medalist round of 34 to lead CWC to a 149-175 win. Oakley Gee and Kaden Carded provided additional support, each shooting 36. KaCee Fulkerson had a 43, Jace Burzynski 46, and Alex O’ Daniel’s 47 rounded out the Bulldog scoring.

On the girls’ side, CWC lost 196-219. Senior Allie Gee had the low round for the Lady Bulldogs with a 46. Macey Heil had a 52, Katie Deig 60, Elleigh Gray 61, and Saylor Mason carded a 64.

CWC v. Hamilton County (Wed., Aug 28)

In the girls’ match, A. Gee led CWC with a 45 but it was not enough as the Lady Foxes picked up a 196-219 win. Kylee Vaughan of Hamilton County was the medalist, shooting a 37.

Scoring by the Lady Bulldogs included Heil recording a 52, Gray 56, and 61 was carded by Deig, S. Mason, and Laci Mills.

For the boys, the Bulldogs defeated the Foxes 157-176. Barbre medaled for the second consecutive match with a 33. Fulkerson and Carter both shot 40, O’ Daniel 44, Burzynski 49, and Zack Roark had a 54.
