The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog track team finished fourth at the West Frankfort Invitational on Thursday, April 11. 

Carterville won the 13-team competition with a score of 59. Herrin scored 42 points to place second, CZR (37) third, and the Lady Bulldogs had a total of 34 team points.

CWC’s lone win was in the 3200m relay. The team of Mackenzie Willis, Payton Dixon, Sloane Barbre, and Sydney Lucas won the event with a time of 11:11.

Individually, Jessica Smith placed second in both the 200m and 400m. Third-place winners included Willis (100m hurdles), Smith (100m), Sydney Lucas (800m), and Dixon in the 1600m.
