The Carmi-White County Bullpup baseball team scored a total of 29 runs over the week to win two games against Fairfield and Eldorado.

CWC 15, Fairfield 5 (Monday, Aug. 31)

After trailing 1-0 through an inning of play at Bradshaw Park, the Jr. Canines went on a 10-0 run over the next three frames to put the game out reach.

Gavin Peyton’s two hits and four runs batted in paced the maroon and white at the plate. Gavin Holloman and Landon Driscoll added a double each.

Jayde Albright picked up the win in four innings of relief work, striking out four and not surrendering one hit.

CWC 14, Eldorado 0 (Thursday, Aug. 29)

On the road, Mitchell Edwards and Holloman combined to throw a five-inning no-hitter against the Jr. Eagles.

The Bullpups utilized 11 hits and six Eldorado errors to pick up their third consecutive win.

Peyton, Holloman, and Albright had two hits apiece lead the maroon and white. Peyton and Trayton Vickers added a game-high two RBIs apiece.
