The Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Lady Cardinal softball team traveled to Eldorado Friday afternoon to finally get back into action following a long 10 day layoff due to weather resulting in poor field conditions.

The Lady Cardinals wasted little time in getting on the scoreboard as they plated two runs in the top of the first inning to grab the early 2-0 lead. This lead, however, was short lived when the Lady Eagles came roaring back with three runs of their own in the bottom of the first to claim the lead back at 3-2.  NCOE would then knot the contest at 3-all in the top of the second and this score would stand until the fourth inning of play. At this time, Eldorado would come alive offensively to push four runs across the plate to go up 7-3. The Lady Cardinals would answer this with three runs of their own in the top of the fifth inning to narrow the Lady Eagle lead to just one run...
